Dermal Fillers are a treatment in which provides fullness and enhances your natural features. Dermal fillers can be used to fill fine lines and wrinkles as well as adding volume to areas such as the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, nose and many other places. Dermal Filler is a biodegradable substance naturally found in the body called hyaluronic acid (HA), in a form of a soft gel. HA provides hydration and helps elasticity and volume. 

Fillers contain lidocaine, which acts as a numbing agent when injected as well as previously having numbing cream on for 20-30 minutes before your treatment. This provides the upmost comfort for all clients and most clients don’t find dermal fillers too uncomfortable. 

At Mrs Page Aesthetics we like to build up your features slowly, showing the client every step and building up the features together. You will never have more filler injected than what you’re happy with and most of the time clients think they need more than what they actually do. 

Fillers can be dissolved, so over time if you decide you don’t like the treatment or you just want the filler dissolved, thats no problem. We use hyaluronidase (hyalase) which is injected into the area where previous dermal filler is and it dissolves the filler, usually seeing results within 2 hours - 2 weeks.

How long does it last?

Results usually last between 12-18 months, sometimes longer, however most clients like to keep on top of their fillers as the natural anatomy of our bodies break down the filler over time. This also depends on lifestyle factors such as exercise and water consumption. The main dermal filler used at Mrs Page Aesthetics is Revolax, which from personal experience and client feedback lasts the longest and gives the sleekest results.
